As we take stock at the start of 2026, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on what was a highly rewarding year for Peabodys Coffee. Throughout 2025, our focus remained firmly on growth, strong community connections and delivering great coffee and food in welcoming spaces.
A Year of Growth and New Openings
One of the standout moments of 2025 was the opening of our twelfth coffee shop at St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester. This new location allowed us to extend the Peabodys experience to even more customers, and the warm welcome from staff and visitors alike was incredibly encouraging. Being part of such an important environment is something we’re very proud of.
We were also delighted to open our new Peabodys site at UCLH, bringing our offer to 250 Euston Road. More recently, we were pleased to support the opening of the new courtyard at UCLH, where guests enjoyed freshly prepared pizzas made on site alongside our hot drinks and pastries. These moments highlight the role food and drink play in creating welcoming, shared spaces.
Strengthening Community Connections
Community remained at the heart of everything we did throughout 2025. We continued to support local events, NHS charities across all our sites and a range of important awareness days. Highlights included our ongoing support of the charity abseil at Watford NHS Trust, Estates and Facilities Day across our locations, Nutrition and Hydration Week, and Macmillan Cancer coffee mornings, among many others.
Our focus has consistently been on bringing people together over quality food and drink, supporting the communities we serve and recognising the vital work taking place in the environments where we operate.
Sustainability and Quality at Our Core
Our commitment to sustainability and quality continued throughout the year. By prioritising fairtrade and organic products, we ensure every cup of coffee is not only enjoyable but responsibly sourced.
We also maintained our focus on compostable and recyclable packaging, helping to reduce our environmental impact and encouraging customers to do the same. Our free coffee grounds compost points at many Peabodys sites remained very popular, with customers using the grounds in their gardens and green spaces.
