We recently opened our brand new Peabodys premises at the main entrance of Watford General Hospital.
In celebration of the grand opening, staff, patients and visitors were invited to a special launch event on the first morning to see the new space, meet Peabodys staff and sample fairtrade organic coffee and delicious freshly prepared cakes. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get to get together and view the new coffee bar.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has stopped by in the first few days. It has been wonderful to meet so many new faces and greet some of our regulars. Thanks to everyone for their good wishes and support.
Peabodys also thanks our incredibly hardworking and dedicated staff who have done an incredible job in getting everything ready.
Managing Director of Peabodys Coffee, Claudia Mascino, had this to say about last week’s opening:
“Peabodys Coffee is really passionate about bringing delicious coffee and food into healthcare settings using fresh, healthy and sustainable ingredients.
We have been working with the NHS since 1997 and to date have eight outlets operating at some of the busiest hospitals, with more planned this year, including Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton next month.
It was fantastic to meet everyone at the grand opening last week and we are incredibly excited about the new bar at Watford General Hospital”
Visitors to the new bar can expect organic Fairtrade coffee, a range of hot drinks, Italian style ciabattas, paninis, soups, salads and healthy snacks.
